Your voice is your most powerful tool in communication. It’s not just what you say but how you say it. This workshop focuses on helping participants unlock the full potential of their voices. Through practical exercises, participants will learn how to use their voice effectively to engage and inspire their audience.

Objectives:

Understand how your voice is perceived by others and how to control that perception.
Learn the building blocks of a controlled and rich voice, including pitch, pace, and power.
Develop techniques to modify your voice to connect with your audience more effectively.

Bio of Helen von Dadelszen

Helen von Dadelszen is the founder of Present Potential Sàrl, providing practical training and coaching for individuals and groups in public speaking, confidence and vocal production.

Helen believes that everyone has the potential to speak with confidence and communicate their message in a powerful, persuasive and compelling way. She supports professionals from a range of industries to carefully craft speeches and presentations that have a lasting impact.

Theatre and performance have always been an essential part of her life. Helen is an active member her local Toastmasters club, has chaired and won several European speech contests. She is also exploring the challenging and fun world of improvisational theatre with a local improv troupe.

Due to her experience with international NGOs, Helen specialises in working with programme managers, staff, researchers, academics, health professionals and scientists to effectively communicate their work and results to a wide variety of audiences. She particularly enjoys working with non-native English speakers as well as unlocking her client’s vocal potential.

Originally from New Zealand, Helen has a background in Human Resources, recruitment, and large-scale event management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English Literature, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration endorsed in Human Resource Management, and a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA). Helen is also a Roger Love Method certified vocal coach and Positive Intelligence Coach.
