Executives International gather and process your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy and in compliance with the relevant data protection Regulation and laws. This notice provides you with the necessary information regarding your rights and our obligations, and explains how, why and when we process your personal data.

Information That We Collect
Executives International processes your personal information to meet our legal, statutory and contractual obligations and to provide you with our products and services. We will never collect any unnecessary personal data from you and do not process your information in any way, other than as specified in this policy. The information that is collected might include your name, email address, postal address, telephone number, company name, position, payment information and other such details.
How We Use Your Personal Data
Executives International takes your privacy very seriously and will never disclose, share or sell your data without your consent; unless required to do so by law. We only retain your data for as long as is necessary and for the purposes specified in this policy. Where you have consented to us providing you with promotional offers and marketing, you are free to withdraw this consent at any time.
We collect your personal data in the performance of a contract or to provide a service to you. We will occasionally send you marketing information where we have assessed that it is beneficial to you as a customer and in our interests. Such information will be non-intrusive and is processed on the grounds of legitimate interests.

You have the right to access any personal information that Executives International processes about you and to request information about: -

If you believe that we hold any incomplete or inaccurate data about you, you have the right to ask us to correct and/or complete the information and we will strive to correct it as quickly as possible; unless there is a valid reason for not doing so, at which point you will be notified.
You also have the right to request erasure of your personal data or to restrict processing (where applicable) in accordance with the data protection laws; as well as to object to any direct marketing from us.
If we receive a request from you to exercise any of the above rights, we may ask you to verify your identity before acting on the request; this is to ensure that your data is protected and kept secure.
Sharing and Disclosing Your Personal Information
We do not share or disclose any of your personal information without your consent, other than for the purposes specified in this policy or where there is a legal requirement. We use 3rd parties to perform functions on our behalf such as e-mail, web hosting, newsletter services, event booking management, payment collection and debt collection.
Safeguarding Measures
Executives International takes your privacy seriously and takes every reasonable measure and precaution to protect and secure your personal data. We work hard to protect you and your information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction and have several layers of security measures in place, including SSL, encryption, restricted access and authentication.
Transfers Outside the EU
Personal data in the European Union is protected by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) but some other countries may not necessarily have the same high standard of protection for your personal data. Executives International uses services such as event and membership management and newsletter services in the United States of America. These countries have an adequacy agreement in place with the European Union regarding data protection. We take steps to ensure that these providers use the necessary level of protection for your information and abide by strict agreements and measures to protect your data and comply with the relevant data protection laws.
Consequences of Not Providing Your Data
You are not obligated to provide your personal information to Executives International, however, as this information is usually required for us to provide you with our services, we will not be able to offer some/all our services without it.
Legitimate Interests
As noted in the ‘How We Use Your Personal Data’ section of this policy, we occasionally process your personal information using 'legitimate interest’ as the legal basis to process your data. Where this is the case, we have carried out a thorough Legitimate Interests’ Assessment (LIA) to ensure that we have weighed your interests and any risk posed to you against our own interests, ensuring that they are proportionate and appropriate.
We use the 'legitimate interest’ legal basis for processing our mailing lists and have identified that our interests are to offer our client information about upcoming Executives International events, workshops, news and offers. You can opt-out from those emails at any given time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of every email.
How Long We Keep Your Data
Executives International only ever retains personal information for as long as is necessary and we have strict review and retention policies in place to meet these obligations. Where you have consented to us using your details for direct marketing, we will keep such data until you notify us otherwise and/or withdraw your consent.

Unless otherwise specified, event registration refunds are subject to an administrative fee. Each event requires a 48 hour notification via EI email info@executives-int.ch beyond which refunds will not be honoured.
By completing purchases with us you agree to have your Credit card and personal information securely stored as part of a payment profile within Stripe payment gateway. This securely stored payment profile will be used, when authorized, for automated recurring payments and will allow for easier and faster checkouts. No credit card information is stored within Member365 CRM platform, used by Executives International, and all payment data is accessed by way of a secure API. Under no circumstances do we share credit card or personal details.
Who can access the Executives International member portal?
Please note that the Executives International member portal is to be used by members of Executives International only. Certain workspaces within the member portal will be tailored for and restricted to certain membership types; access to these areas will be determined and approved by Executives International staff. The Content that is displayed in your member portal will automatically vary based on your user / membership type.
What can be posted?
To ensure all interactions within the Executives International member portal are safe and friendly, Executives International staff will oversee the member portal activity and will review, edit, and delete any inappropriate content that has been submitted. This includes abusive or offensive language, spam, malicious files, or other disrespectful contact. To help provide a productive environment, please report any offensive or suspicious activity to Executives International staff. Please note that not all user-submitted content is representative of Executives International, nor does it necessarily represent the views of Executives International, its staff or members.
